Mid-State Industrial Maintenance continues to strengthen its leadership team with the addition of Tommy Price, who joined the organization on February 26, 2026, as Vice President of Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Operations.
With a career rooted in heavy industry and large-scale process operations, Price brings deep technical expertise and operational leadership to Mid-State’s growing E&I platform. His appointment reflects the company’s continued investment in expanding its capabilities across mission-critical maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, particularly in sectors where uptime, reliability, and safety are paramount.
Prior to joining Mid-State, Price spent the majority of his career with The Mosaic Company, a global leader in phosphate and potash production. There, he held a series of progressively senior roles in operations, electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance leadership, including positions such as Senior Manager of Maintenance and Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer. His experience spans power generation, sulfuric acid & phosphoric acid operations, utilities, and large-scale mining environments, all areas that demand rigorous reliability standards and disciplined execution.
Throughout his career, Price has demonstrated a strong track record in:
- Leading complex maintenance and capital projects
- Driving reliability improvements in high-cost-of-failure environments
- Managing multidisciplinary teams across operations, electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical functions
- Enhancing safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
At Mid-State, Price will oversee the strategic direction and execution of electrical and instrumentation services. His leadership is expected to play a key role in advancing the company’s integrated service model, which combines fabrication, engineering, and field maintenance to deliver comprehensive solutions to industrial clients.
Price’s background aligns exceptionally well with the environments Mid-State’s customers operate in. His experience in complex processing facilities and his focus on reliability and safety make him a strong addition to the executive team.
Mid-State, founded in 1973 and headquartered in Lakeland, Florida, has built a reputation as a leading provider of industrial maintenance and fabrication services across the Southeast and beyond. With continued growth and strategic investment, the addition of seasoned leaders like Price underscores the company’s commitment to operational excellence and long-term customer partnerships.
