Mid-State Industrial Maintenance is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Hughes to Director of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Operations, effective February 16, 2026.

Matt has been a valued member of the Mid-State team since July 6, 2009, when he joined the company as E&I Division Manager. Over the past 16+ years, he has played a critical role in the growth and success of our E&I services, consistently demonstrating strong technical expertise, operational leadership, and a commitment to delivering high quality results for our clients.

Throughout his tenure, Matt has led complex projects, developed high-performing teams, and contributed to the expansion of our E&I capabilities across multiple industries. His deep understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, combined with his hands-on leadership style, has made him a trusted leader within the organization and a respected partner to our customers.

In his new role as Director of E&I Operations, Matt will oversee strategic direction, operational performance, and continued growth of the E&I division. He will focus on driving efficiency, strengthening client relationships, and advancing our service offerings to meet evolving industry demands.
