At Mid-State, safety is a vital and key component in every single project we take on. We have full time Field Services Safety Personnel and Management Safety Committee in-house in order to dedicate proper focus towards the safety of each endeavor. In turn, with every new venture, a stringent quality control program that includes a published quality assurance manual and dedicated quality manager is used to control every phase of machining, mechanical repairs and fabrication. From inspection of raw material through final inspection, all is closely monitored to ensure that our products meet required industry standards and safety protocols.

Training Certifications
It is important that our staff is consistently being trained and drilled on new practices and safety protocol
Mid-State is certified in: Falk Gear Reducers, Hazleton Pump (Weir), Warman Pumps (Weir), Galigher/Ash pumps (Weir), Lewis Pumps, I.R.D. Balancing Equipment, Eimco for Wemco Flotation Equipment and Timken Bearing. Our Timken Bearing Certification includes Inspection, Training, Process Audits, Documentation Audits, and ETC. In addition, there are regular training seminars conducted on shop practices, bearing assembly procedures and beyond. It is important that our staff is consistently being trained and drilled on new practices and safety protocol. In turn, all company personnel are also continually trained in OSHA, MSHA, Forklift, Overhead and Mobile Cranes and much more.
All welding operations are performed by welders certified as per applicable contract code and all welding is controlled by In-House Welding Inspector (C.W.I.) registered with the American Welding Society. All Non-Destructive Testing is performed by an assigned Level III N.D.E. Inspector which can provide tests such as Radiography, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Tensile and Charpy Impact. Mid-State also has In-House Level II inspectors qualified under the requirements of The National Society of Non-Destructive Testing.
